We actually made this promo in 2006 when we first were going to start this blog. It just didn’t happen until now.

Felicia is most widely known for her work in web video, and co-starred in Joss Whedon’s Internet musical “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-a-long Blog,” Voted the Best TV of 2008 by Time Magazine, Entertainment Weekly and People Magazine just to name a few. She also can be seen in the web series “The Guild”, which she created, writes and stars in. “The Guild” was the winner of the YouTube, Yahoo and SXSW Best Web Series Awards for 2008 and for the first season alone collected over 11 million hits web-wide.
Simply put… she rocks out web video. Oh, and we can’t forget to mention that she also has been on TV in “House”, “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”, “Dollhouse” and “Monk” and in movies “Bring it on Again” and “Warm Springs”. One more thing… if you are not one of her 645,652 twitter followers (as of 10pm June 2, 2009) you can get some good joy from following her @feliciaday (follow us too – @vubui and @lanbui)

The Music
Something amazing I want everyone to take note of is the music in the video above. This music was written and composed by Paul Dateh and Ken Belcher specifically for this video. It is all original music made just for Felicia Day’s behind the scenes video. I am so glad they were able to create such an awesome soundtrack for our video, I think it is so awesome that they are able to carry the mood of the visuals with sound. It is also really cool that since the music is made for the video it is timed perfectly and follows the mood perfectly. Thanks so much Ken and Paul for the music!!!

The Makeup
Tracie Cotta is such a great makeup artist to work with! She is fun to work with… so If you have any needs for hiring a makeup artist you need to give her a call. Every time we work with Tracie we have gotten perfect results.

The Bonny
Without Bonny’s support it would be so hard to do these photo shoots. She always helps out with all of the things we don’t think of.

WOW. PURE WOW. You guys are just phenomenal with your texturing and ability to capture one of the icons of our industry. Felicia truly defined to a culture that being a woman into technology could be so attractive. (something that anyone who is married to a sexy geek has known forever, but Felicia made it mainstream) What is great is how you have capture her child-like elegance. Awesome.

Lurvely photos as always and looks like such a fun day! Never hurts to have such a funny, genuine subject, as well. Also, Vu needs to make the hat his trademark. Never take it off. Second also, more Bonny in everything!!!!!!!!!!

Wow! So awesome! These shots and the video are beautiful! I wish you had a video of the day we did that all-day photo shoot in the OC a couple of years ago… we did so much that day! Someday, I hope to do it again… we always have so much fun. But first… we should HANG OUT!!! Like, without taking photos!!! I miss you guys (and gal ;)).
